No internet at home is doing my head in - Our new router arrived and it still doesn't work :-/

Boy will someone turn the tap off please. The rain is making running hard work. Managed to do a 6 mile swim/jog today.

I'm loving the soup. Soup, soup a tasty soup! (as the Boosh would say). I've got it nailed, I make 2 batches a week and they last us both out - we have it everyday at lunch. Yum.

Well not much else to post - might have tomorrow...

Well the weather is still hanging out there :-/

Got a cheeky run 4 mile run in and did the sit-up challenge out of the way.

Finally got around to painting my little sculpt toy :-) loving him!

Well after yesterdays full on rain/snow fun time I was expecting to see Noah float past jogger towers this morning. But peeking out the door early am I was greeted with a frosty welcome.

I headed out and did 7 miles. It was ok on the paths, but as soon as you tried to cross the roads in the village it was like going to the ice rink. Glad I wasn't driving around at the time.

The good thing about nice crispy days is it's so nice to go walking in. We went for a cheeky 3-4 mile walk as a family and took some bread to feed the feather heads.

Hope everyone running the Disney half marathon has a great run - looking forward to hearing about it.

Mrs JogBlog (Mrs Jogger Blogger I mean) is a happy bunny tonight, It's a week since she started her weight watchers plan and her second meeting and weigh in. A whopping 8lb has fallen off. Cool. I say it's all down to my zero point soups :-D I've got a new one that is lush (i'll post the recipe tomorrow) - but we have been eating really well, just making sure it's all counted. Not sure what I have lost as I don't weigh myself, when I went from 18.5 stone to 13.5 last time, I became obsessive about weighing myself - so now I just go by how my clothes fit.

Anyway enough about weight watching. On the jogging front I managed a cheeky 4 miles - windy again :-/

Sticking to the weight watchers is leaving me feeling low on the energy front, I think that I will have to look at what I need to power up on (more carbs an hour before the run I think).

Work was work :-/

Running was a hard 5 miles. It was windy, in places it felt like you weren't even moving... come on the summer! Miss them cheeky warm late evening runs in the red setting sun.

Our Wii came today :-D so far I've mainly been allowed to watch the little person playing on it. It's cool - super cool.

Went for another cheeky 5 miles and also did my S/P challenge as soon as I got in from work. It was easier than last nights. Preston says he is going to start tonight - we'll see ;-)

New Year New Dietathon-Thingy

Well as it's the new year already, it's time for me to stop eating all the pies and drag my gut back over my belt and shed a few pounds.

I'm not keen on diets as they don't work. I just need to eat good healthy food all the time with a little of what I like some of the time. The last month it's been 4 days good, 3 days not so good.

As the winter bites in over at jogger towers I've started making some Zero Weight Watchers soups to warm me cockles - I'll review them as I go.

Tonight I made 'Chinese Shoestring Soup' I found the recipe via google here 'Hungry Girl' - You can make it with any stock veggie or meat. It's LUSH! try it - no points, I could eat this all day YUM, YUM!

As for running - managed another chilled red faced 5 miles - and also did my push/sit up challenge. I've been thinking about the P/S challenge and I am to add an extra 1 a day on each until I can't add any more.

Well that's the first run of the New Year out of the way. It was a good paced 5 miles :-D

Thanks to all the comments on the last post - makes getting out of the door and sticking to goals so much easier.

Apparently it's going to snow tonight - that should reek havoc on the roads tomorrow and also give me some cold legs.

As regards Push Up and Sit Up challenge went - boy, I suck! I managed 25 push ups and 25 sit ups. Lets see what I can do in a years time.

1st day of the New Year

No running today... time for a day off I think.

Well 2007 had some great high lights. It was the year where I put in stacks of miles instead of playing at running on and off.

2007 miles = 1429.5 Miles. I'm very happy with that.

Preston set the idea for Juneathon in motion and managed to get us all out of the door everyday (even if he only ran 4+ times). This one thing I have kept this going since June and now only stop once a week for a day off.

The Robin Hood half marathon was cool - again thanks to Mr Preston, this was the first time that I had run a race with anyone. I'm looking forward to this years - the registration is already open for those who are interested.

I got to meet up with some great bloggers this year - UK side Miss Jog Blog (which was a good 'ol laugh) - US side we got the chance to hangout with Rae, E and the guys and also Kate and gang.

The TOT 13k was another fun race, not because the race was that great (quite a few teething problems with that race) - but I ran it with FROGGERJOGGER :-) we had a real good laugh all the way around and I got to ride TOT stinking with E’s sister.

Mr Jinx came along into the family, how great has he turned out to be. He is an amazing pet and has given the house a great vibe.

2008 - What to do this year? Well more of the same. I plan to continue 140+ miles a month and hopefully try and to get around 1900 miles in. I’d like to meet more of the guys that comment on my ramblings.

Also this year I’m adding a cheeky new element to my training. The push-up and press-up challenge (just because I haven‘t been able to get any other training in). I’ll post my progress each day on the bottom of my posts, hopefully they will improve.
