Hello from Mrs Jogger Blogger.

Mr Jogger Blogger is feeling under the weather, he has been off ill today (must be ill he hasn't even been out for a run).

Just wanted to let Rae (hi) know I've reached the weight to make me a "Gold Member" lol! at weight watchers. I have shifted another 1.5lbs this week. Hope you are doing well on the points system. Miss you guys and see you all soon (not too long now).

The weather is FREEZING! Managed to put in a cheeky 5miles today and do the rest of the challenges.

I'm in the process of making the move over to WordPress at the moment... I think, I'll see how it all works out ;-)

No sit-ups today, but a cheeky little run 4 miles. Tomorrow I'll be doing a five! My ankle seems to be behaving itself. Got to put in some miles to get the numbers up - I hate injuries :-/

Jinx is loving the sunny weather - he wouldn't if he had to get his naked butt out of the door, not that I run naked.

Well the ankle seems to be better, the new trainers are lush.

They have that new trainer bounce at the moment. I still didn't push myself (3 miles) but now I know it's 98% I'll do a proper 5-6miles tomorrow.

Watched a few good movies this weekend. Ratatouille was the first one on Friday night, very good! Last night we watched 'Super Bad' with a friend, LOL, funny and that was followed with Russell Brand live. Russell is one of them marmite people, I like him and the video was again very funny.

A cold start

To another mini run. My ankle seems to be getting better, I'm not pushing it at the moment but I have managed to do 2 two miles, fingers crossed it will behave and get better asap (it's still a little sore).

JogBlog - hope the knees better and Rae hope the arm is now working... BOY running is so good for you ;-)

Speaking of sore - Mr SoreLimbs has come back from his blogging grave, drop by and say hi. Glad to have him back as he has got a fantastic dry sense of humour :-)

Some good news - I've been asked to do a Custom dunny to auction for an upcoming charity event which will be raising money for Cancer Sell. The party/show/gallery night will be in April (somewhere in the Eastend I'm told) - should be a good gig, I'll update with more details as soon as I get them - if anyone is interested in coming down to say hi, let me know and I'll get you on the guest list.

Well off to fight the crowds at ikea to get a new bed...ekk!

Fossilised ankle

That's what I woke up with (and so did the chap above). Loads of ice and painkillers and prescription drugs later I was back at work. Sitting down in front of my Mac for 5 hours my ankle had stopped working again, so I went for a 1 mile walk. Fingers crossed this old git will be on the mend tomorrow...

Looks like it's going to be a low mileage month guys :-/

I didn't know that these Easter island chaps had carvings on there backs, did you?

Well I'm in agony! my right ankle has gone pop. I think it's due to needing new trainers and me being tight. I will get some new ones tomorrow, but will have to take it easy on running for a couple of days :-( Fingers crossed it sorts itself out asap - I'm mardy when I can't get out for a run.

Jinx is going in for a cat show soon. The small person is wired. To make it even better she might get on TV as she is showing him and "Animal Planet" will be there filming. I'll let you
know how it goes.

Well did my run - not a long one 8miles in all and then push up and sit up challenge. I think that I'm going to stop adding more push ups but carry on adding sit ups.

Got my haircut :-D my mate who owns the hairdressers laughed his head off when he saw me (he said he had booked me a extended session as it's been a year) - It's still long, but he has cut loads off (most with a razor) - Mrs JB likes and so does the little one... phew. He is a made runner himself - doing the half marathon in under 1:18...FAST.

Anyhow See ya, I've got a glass of red wine with my name on it.

I'm fine - just this minute got back in from work - 19:43...on a Friday, that's just wrong! But it's the weekend :-D

Well tomorrow is 'HC" day... yes, you got it I'm getting my haircut. Not sure to get it all off or a bit shorter (it's about 3-4 inches past my shoulder at the moment). I did promise Preston that if I was going to go for it that I'd let him perm it first - so I might go for a trim.

JogBlog - looking forward to the SAS, what night is it on? I will try and get an overnighter sorted.

Hope that everyone has a great weekend. I'm planning to get at least 1 long run in.

Haven't done my sit ups yet, but will do after this post. See ya.

Chimp!

Well got my mokey like ass out of the door and put in another 5 miles. The wind has died down a little so it's not in your face hardcore running at the moment.

Sounds like the London Jog Blog meet up is going well - I want to go! I need to sort an over night stop sometime soon.

Rae asked for my soup recipe - if you're on WW it's a Zero pointer.

2 tins of chopped toms 2 veggie stock cubes (fat free) 2 courgettes (I think you guys call them zuchinni) 4-5 carrots 4-5 small onions 1 red pepper 2-3 slices of jalapeno chili peppers (don't put these in if you don't like hot ones) Pepper and chili (if you want) 4 to 5 pints of water

Roughly cut everything up and bring to a boil - leave to simmer for 20 minutes, then allow to cool and blend up... YUM!

Just got back in from a cheeky 4 miler - hard work, had a mad run to London as well (8 hours travel as well as working).

Mrs JB has done amazing at WW - she has now lost 15lb - 1 stone 1lb in her first month! another 9 lb to goal.

Off for a red wine now - see ya.

Is that your Mummy?

Check out this little chap - he was down on a low shelf in the library. Loads of people missed him, not us :-D petty he was behind glass and in a glass dome as the picture isn't the best - but it's my favorite Mummy by far.

Back on track with my running - need to change my trainers as my knees are starting to play up. Just checked and I've done about 450+ miles in them. What I need to do (if I engage my brain) is put a note in the right hand column when I get my next pair to help me keep an eye on them.

Off to the pool to watch the little ones swimming team :-)

Good news & Bad news

Good news = the new router came and is working, YAH!

Bad news = even though I was picked as one of the 20 winners for the New Yorker competition because I'm not a US resident my entry has been pulled :-/ should have read the small print... I suppose at least I was chosen out of nearly 300 though :-D

Running news = No Preston, he has a new job at a cheeky little agency, so It was a cold run on my own - no iPod, it had died. I managed a little 1 miler and a 5 miler today. I have gone easy the last few days as my back has been playing up.

Now I can go and check out all your blogs... you have been warned.

The weather has dropped off again - snow and rain. Half way around my run today to drinkers thought it would be a good idea to clear some more room for some extra super brew and stood puking all over the footpath - nice! Yesterday the same foot path was shut due to a bomb scare in the court house - man, I run some lovely tracks ;-)

Still no internet at home :-/ fingers crossed for tomorrow. Has anyone else been cut off from the web? it's bad. I can't get over how much I rely on it. Sorry to everyone for not commenting, I promise to get back on it as soon as I get the new router.
