= 8k :-) did a pre work run, it's got a bit windy the last day or so - but lucky for me it wasn't in my face. Looking forward to start cranking up the miles next week :-)

Update
Got out and did a 4K jog with Preston :-P The wind has picked up even more - but my luck has changed, this time it was pushing us backwards.

Hi :-) you can't be to scared of the slothmyster from the goonies :-)
The detox I'm doing is no alchol, no coffee, fizzy drinks (and I only ever used to drink diet) no wheat and no junk/pre packaged foods. I'm also drinking 2-3 litres of water a-day. I'm still drinking tea as don't really want to run on zero caffine.
That's about it :-) still only 80 days till the race :-) then I might eat some pizza... but I'm going to try and keep it up. It might be hard as we're going to Florida in October :-)
I blame you for the above lifestye change. After I read your "Incoherently Questioning Reality" blog - it made me look at my own reasons for running etc. :-)
