Garmin equation
Inclement weather conditions. x People staring at you looking at the sky whilst you shuffle around on the spot with your wrist exposed. = Time taken to lock on to a satellite.
It was/is freezing cold at the moment - my trusty Garmin helped keep me cool by taking forever to locate and lock on to it's satellite selection today.
Did a couple of miles on my own.
Bring on the 36K tomorrow! :-P

When I come out of the gym and turn my Garmin back on, I lean nonchalantly with my arm on the railings pretending I'm waiting for a bus. People still stare though :-)

I think I'm going to get up an run 30K before work, so that I can go out and do 6K with Mrs Preston at lunchtime... For some reason he didn't want to get up early.
That gives me the evening to have a few red wines :-)

This evening I leant out of the toilet window, trying to lock on before I left the building.
Thats quite awkward to explain when people wander in to use the facilities.

LOL! :-) when I got mine I thought it would log on straight away... I think the newer ones are quicker.
Yeup 36K for my 36th Birthday :-D I'm going out for a run at 12.00pm tonight (it's a bit cold though) and then try and pull the rest in before work :-)
