My wife has just built a compost heap in our garden and its like a tardis. Nice picture, what camera do you have? Ive got a Sony DSC W1 which is quite cheap but does the job etc.

cheers - I've got a 2 year old Sony DSC-T7, really like it as it's so small and east to carry. If I had the cash I'd love a digital SLR, but that's not likely unless I win big.

Yeah me 2 I want a nice SLR. My neighbor is a photographer....... (When I say photographer I mean unemployed) he has plenty of time on his hands. When I presented my camera to him when I had just bought it he nearly spluttered his inner organs up with disapproving laughter. Anyway after I gave him C.P.R with a cricket bat he gave some sound advice................."Get a better camera"

I’m saving up for a very expensive telescope so the expensive camera is taking 2nd place at the moment. It’s still nice to see great pics by us so called amateurs.

Cheers.

Sorry to keep spamming your blog but that picture reminded me of a good friend who I used to work with. We both worked shifts and he got banned from driving (long story will tell later) anyway on the way home from a shift I was driving him home and he said ,as we were driving down a tree lined avenue "I love this time of year" back then I was completely ignorant to everything. But that comment opened my eyes up to the world etc and it’s stuck with me ever since. I now look at sunsets and try to point to Polaris to whoever is interested. I know this isnt world changing stuff but i just want you to know that it matters sometimes :)

Your photo did the same thing for me again :)

So pleased to hear your dad is making good progress mate, also nice to hear it won't be long before he's back to the norm.

That's a brilliant photo, I used to be snap happy when I got my first digi cam (still have it today, but hardly use it)... would like to get deeper into photography.

Cheers johnny :-P it's good to see him doing well!

And thanks for the comment on the pic, I wished I had more time to learn photography - It's cool, but then again I LOVE DRAWING too much...

How's UNI?

You're welcome buddy, I'd love to draw more if I was better at it. I can draw still life but when it comes to drawing from imagination I fall at the first hurdle!

Uni was a bit slow until about 2 weeks ago... now the sh*t has started to hit the fan a bit but it's not going too bad! Doing a character animation in 3D Studio Max at the min which is fun. Thanks for asking! :)
