It's the final countdown...

It’s time to get serious – well as serious as I can be. I’ve just checked my calendar and it’s only 14 weeks to the Nottingham RobinHood half. Now that my ankle seems to be behaving it’s time to get some proper miles and training in.
I've redone the counter on the right-hand side to count down to the race :-P

Hope your ankle stays strong.

I've got my seventh and a bit of a marathon next week :-)

It's next Thursday, eek! I haven't even run 3.5 miles yet, and only ran 3 miles once I think. It'll be all right on the night though :-)

:-P even though that you say you don't like running with ither people, the good thing about races is that the crowd help carry you along :-)

Just remember not to start to fast,

I'm not as anti-social as I sound :-)

I just prefer to be on my own when I'm running as I'm trying to get better and go further/for longer and it's a lot easier when I can just switch off. Other people around make me think about what I'm doing which makes it more difficult. If that makes any sense? But yes, I'm sure as you say the crowd will help carry me along :-)

:-P I don;t do fast, but my mate made me go near the front the other month - and after 2 miles I thought I might die :-)

I haven't run with anyone else this year - I'm like you - it's good to get out on your own.
